The first Dead Space is still a wild ride that is highly enjoyable to this day. Visceral Games had something special on their hands with this title, as the solitary and foreboding atmosphere of Dead Space coupled with its excellent combat and HUD implementation - or lack thereof, to be more accurate - led to Dead Space being one of the most immersive and entertaining horror-action titles of all time. It would be impossible to talk about the greatest horror games of all time without mentioning the phenomenon that is Dead Space.
